This week in Margate, you’ll find a range of things to do. Expect a good mix of music, live bands and DJ sets will fill venues, with rhythms ranging from Brazilian sounds to well-loved hits. You can check out a local music venue, or hear sounds from bars along the harbour.

While Margate Museum is currently closed for refurbishment, other avenues for culture are open. You might find sessions at venues near Margate Pier, or explore the renovated spaces around the Old Town.

With family-friendly sessions available, a day out with younger visitors is easily arranged. Main Sands beach provides a classic seaside experience, though Westbrook Bay offers a quieter option. Be aware of potential overcrowding at Dreamland during peak season. Certain areas of Northdown Park, such as the Secret Jungle Garden, are temporarily inaccessible.
